Sheng Tai International launches into the new year to achieve its vision to elevate the historic state of Malacca to an international fashion city. This time, the inaugural Straits Gala 2023 was successfully held at The Sail Superdome, located at our iconic mixed-use development, The Sail Melaka.
The event followed the Met Gala Malaysia in 2021, Sheng Tai International successfully invited international investors from more than 15 countries to attend Straits Gala 2023, which will be a further development for Sheng Tai International.
The event was also an evaluation platform for Fashion TV Academy Malaysia’s trained models, with top graduates standing a chance to participate in international events held by FashionTV Paris.
Moreover, Dato Leong Sir Ley presented a piano music performance for the Straits Gala 2023. There were also performances by many talented artists, fashion shows, food, and more. The purpose is to be the right place to gather people from around the world and cultures across the world to enjoy Malaysian hospitality, food, and culture, especially the unique diversity of Melaka – and entice them to invest in The Sail,” Dato Leong said.
